1st Day Medicne OSPE
Unobserved Stations
- Clubbing and two respiratory diseases that lead to it
- Thyrotoxicosis and two accompanying CVS problems.
- Prophylaxis for a patient having mitral disease, and which disease is comon cause in world for valvular disease (lakeer k faqeer, UHS k ameer!)
- There was a case with a disease(yad nae) for which some drug names were given like gentamicin,carbamezapine, etc...Which drug will you avoid and why? Answer was Gentamicin because of nephrotoxicity
- Patient having sore throat, joint pain and ASO raised... Give prophylactic treatment and one complication.
- Heparin sample pic...3 indications
- Nebulizer... 2 diseases in which it is used.
- X-ray pic diagnosis and treatment... Answer was Emphysema.... and Healthy life style,quit smoking and stuff
Observed Stations
- Internal: Patient suffering from hepatic encephalopathy, give treatment.
- External: Patient having abdominal pain, vomiting, RR 40/min, 300mg/dl, dehydrated... Give treatment.
2nd Day :
Unobserved Stations
- X-ray of consolidation- findings on auscultation..
- Lumbar puncture needle, its contraindications.
- Aspirin- indications.
- Squint pic.. its causes.
- Palmar Erythema pic... its causes.
- Drug contraindicated in CLD(chronic liver disease?) and why?
Interactive stations
Dengue and External had CLD....
And
chemoprophylaxis of endocarditis,
and most common hepatitis, how would you prevent it,
and faecal
oral Hep.
3rd Day:
Unobserved Stations
- Ramsay hunt syndrome pic... They were supposed to diagnose it.
- Use of 25% dextrose, and other drugs that can be used in hypoglycemia.
- Chest X-ray with right lower lober collapse and on auscultation we find bronchial breathing. (They were asked to diagnose it from the X-ray and then predict the findings on auscultation).
- Mitral stenosis. Some scenario and prophylaxis for dental treatment.
- Drugs to avoid in asthma.
- Foley catheter and its two indications.
- CVS causes of Cyanosis.
- Hep B vaccination schedule.
- Acute severe asthma... management.
- Hep C management and counselling.
